Sleep and Mental Wellbeing: Building a Healthier Routine / निद्रा र मानसिक स्वास्थ्य: स्वस्थ sleep routine बनाउने

Psychosocial · Psychosocial health /

Good sleep supports physical health, learning, attention and emotional wellbeing. Sleep needs vary by age.

About / परिचय

CDC guidance lists about 8–10 hours per 24 hours for ages 13–17 and 7 or more hours for many adults aged 18–60. Quality and regularity also matter, not only total hours.

Helpful steps /

Keep a consistent sleep and wake time, reduce stimulating activities close to bedtime, create a calm sleep environment, and avoid using caffeine late in the day.

When to seek professional help /

Talk with a health professional if sleep problems are persistent, strongly affect daytime functioning, or include concerning breathing or movement symptoms during sleep.
